What is an NFT?
"A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable.
NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.
Access to any copy of the original file, however, is not restricted to the buyer of the NFT. While copies of these digital items are available for anyone to obtain, NFTs are tracked on blockchains to provide the owner with a proof of ownership that is separate from copyright." - Wikipedia

The inaugural Moozikoo Gallery exhibition will open on December 3, 2021 on the Moozikoo Gallery page.
What do you consider an emerging artist?
Self-defined emerging artists are welcome to respond to this open call. We welcome students who have reached a point in their artistic investigations to have a comprehensive and focused body of work, as well as emerging artists at the early stages of their career.
What about opportunities for Mid-Career and Established Artists?
As Moozikoo continues to develop the gallery program there will be opportunities for mid-career and established artists, with price points that meet that level of artistic maturity. If you are interested in these opportunities in the future, please sign up to our mailing list.
Why do you want a signed Digital Assets Agreement with my application?
Due to the quick turnaround time between the open call and the exhibition, we want to have all the documents in place to include your work in the exhibition if your application is chosen. Moozikoo Creative will not keep or save the information on your Google Drive Folder if you are not chosen for this exhibition.
Why do you want a picture of me?
To demystify the artistic process and fill out the story behind each work of art, Moozikoo Creative will use these images, along with parts of your statement, for social media posts and marketing. The intent is to give context to the work and build the story behind each piece for potential collectors.
Providing these images are optional, we recognize that some artists are more comfortable with this type of promotion than others. Your artwork is our primary focus.
At Moozikoo Creative we are committed to equal opportunities regardless of race, skin tone, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, marital status, or disability.
Why are these works selling for $100?
At Moozikoo Creative we seek to make the process of supporting artists inclusive and accessible to a wide margin of potential collectors. We hope that everyone can see the value of this exchange by offering an affordable price point. In addition to the high percentage of the sale price we give artists, we are promoting and presenting these new works, thereby supporting emerging artists through engagement.
What essential elements make selling an NFT different from selling an object in a gallery?
Through Moozikoo Creative, artists will receive 80% of the sale price, which is a significantly higher margin that both commercial and non-profit galleries. But the real difference is that if the NFT sells again at any point in time, the artist will receive a sell-on royalty rate of 5% of the sale price, each and every time your NFT is sold.
When will I hear about the status of my application?
Completed applications that meet the November 8, 2021, deadline can expect to hear the outcome of their application by November 25, 2021.
What happens to my work if it is not chosen for this exhibition?
Moozikoo Creative will not keep or save the information on your Google Drive Folder if you are not chosen for this exhibition.
